Allison McAtee is an American actress and producer.  She is well known for her role in Bloomington as a portrayal of Catherine Stark. She has prominently displayed a character of Maggie Day in the show The Haves and the Have Nots. Allison established herself in Hollywood as a versatile actress and well done to her acting career.

She was born on 24 September 1985 in Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S. Allison grew up in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. She did her study in theatre at a couple of universities which are the University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, Imperial College London, and the College of Fine Arts of Carnegie Mellon University.

Allison is having a degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. She was interested in acting as she was performing in her earlier days in her universities and from school days.

McAtee’s career began with supporting roles in independent films and TV shows, but she swiftly rose to prominence due to her talent and versatility. She played a former child actress attending college in the independent movie Bloomington in 2010, which served as her breakthrough role.

She later went on to make appearances in a number of television programs, including Californication, The Killing, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and Castle. McAtee was cast as Eden Ellery in a recurring role on the Showtime series The Affair in 2014. Also, she has acted in movies including Liz in September and The Weekend.

McAtee is a writer in addition to being an actor, and she has written a number of articles on wellness and mental health. Not even on screens but Allison has performed offscreen acting through theatre plays, some of her earlier plays were Midsummer Night’s Dream,  Fefu and her friends, and For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls these were performed during her University days and on various University stages. Some of her other plays are Why we had to Kill Bitch JP Nickle, Confessions of a Wonderbabe, and Julianne Caesar. She has completed a couple of decades in the Hollywood industry and came to a long career.
